Keep big oaks and pines healthy, off your roof, and ready for storm season with proper trimming — not topping.
Good pruning removes dead, crossing, and weak branches so the tree grows stronger and sheds less in high wind. What we don't do is "top" trees — cutting a canopy flat destroys a tree's structure and makes it more dangerous, not less. If someone quotes you a topping job, get a second opinion.
Trimming a single tree typically runs $200–$600 depending on size and how much comes off. Multi-tree yards are quoted as one job and usually come out cheaper per tree. Estimates are free and in writing.
Late fall through winter is ideal for most oaks and pines in south Mississippi — the tree is dormant and the crew can see the branch structure clearly. Hazardous limbs, though, shouldn't wait for the calendar: if it's hanging over your roof, it comes off now.
Local crews, firm written prices, full cleanup. Serving Hattiesburg, Petal & the Pine Belt.
